The Surveyor 240-16 Multibeam Echo Sounder (240 kHz MBES) is a compact, high-resolution sonar designed for UAV-based hydrographic surveying, particularly with DJI M300/M350/M400 RTK drones. It uses a 4° along-track transmit beam, an 80° cross-track swath, and a 16-element receive array, combined with advanced angle-of-arrival processing to achieve sub-degree angular resolution and detect 10–15 targets per ping for detailed shallow-water bathymetry. A built-in IMU provides pitch and roll correction while location and heading data are taken from the aircraft’s navigation system, enabling accurate, real-time depth and spatial mapping. Additional modules (such as SkyHub integration, altimeter, GNSS inputs, mounting hardware, and data logging/visualization software) are required for full operational deployment.

Delivery Details

Free UK Delivery is available on all orders over £100. 

Orders under £100 have a fixed delivery price of £8.

Delivery takes around 4-5 weeks to most UK addresses, except for in stock items, as below.

In-Stock Items Only - Delivery will be made in 2-3 working days. Next Day Delivery is also available to UK mainland addresses for £30 per order, order By 12pm, Mon to Fri to receive next day.

Conditions - Some locations outside mainland UK may incur additional charges, which are representative of the extra cost that we get charged by the courier.
