(d) fraudulent activity is suspected.
In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
3.7 By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that these Terms form part of your contract automatically.
4. Prices, Payment and VAT
4.1 All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT at the applicable UK rate, unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Delivery charges and any additional fees are clearly displayed at checkout.
4.3 Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched or services are performed.
4.4 We accept the payment methods shown on our website at checkout.
4.5 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time prior to dispatch.
4.6 All payments are processed securely in compliance with UK data protection and payment regulations.
5. Delivery and Risk
5.1 Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on availability, logistics, or third-party carriers.
5.2 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Title (ownership) passes only once full payment has been received.
5.3 The Buyer must inspect goods upon AlphaGeo Ltd within 24 hours of any damage or shortages.
5.4 We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
5.5 You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of delivery information provided during checkout.
6. Consumer Rights and Cancellations
6.1 If you are purchasing as a consumer, your order is protected under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
6.2 You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after delivery, without giving a reason.
6.3 To exercise your cancellation right, you must notify us in writing via sales@alphageouk.com before the end of the 14-day period.
6.4 You must return goods at your own cost (unless they are faulty or incorrect). Returned goods must be in original condition and packaging.
6.5 Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods or proof of return.
6.6 Cancellation rights do not apply to:
(a) customised or made-to-order goods (e.g. configured ROV systems);
(b) digital products or software once download or activation has commenced;
(c) goods unsealed after delivery for hygiene or safety reasons; or
(d) services already completed with your consent.
6.7 Business customers do not have cancellation rights under consumer legislation.
7. Warranties and Servicing
7.1 All goods supplied are warranted to conform to their description and to be of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7.2 Where applicable, products may carry a manufacturer’s warranty; details will be supplied with your order.
7.3 AlphaGeo Ltd also provides ROV maintenance, servicing, and diagnostics to existing clients under separate service agreements.
7.4 This warranty does not cover faults arising from misuse, unauthorised repair, neglect, or environmental damage.
7.5 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any matter for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, AlphaGeo Ltd shall not be liable for:
(a) any indirect, consequential, or special loss;
(b) loss of business, revenue, or data; or
(c) damage resulting from improper installation or use of the goods.
8.3 Our total liability to you, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the price paid for the goods or services in question.
9. Account Registration and Security
9.1 You may create an account to manage orders and preferences.
9.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
9.3 You must not use another person’s account without their permission.
9.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion.
10. Acceptable Use of Website
10.1 You must not use this website:
(a) for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity;
