ECT 400S

Single-Frequency (450 kHz) Ideal for ultra-shallow, vegetation-free waters

Acoustic Frequency: 450 kHz

Minimum Depth: ~30 cm

Dead Zone: 15 cm

Purpose: Measures depth to first detected object (e.g., bottom, fish, vegetation)

Limitation: Not suitable for weedy or vegetated beds – may return erratic depths

Best for: Ponds, tanks, clear water canals, and ultra-shallow bathymetry

⚠️ Requires clean bottom for consistent readings – not recommended for use over seaweed or dense vegetation.

ECT D24S 

Dual-Frequency (200/450 kHz or 200/50 kHz) For moderate vegetation or soft sediment environments

Frequencies:
450 kHz – detects first return (surface of vegetation or bottom)
200 kHz – penetrates light vegetation for more reliable bottom detection
(Optional variant) 50 kHz – deeper penetration through soft sediments

Dead Zones:
200 kHz – 0.5 m
50 kHz – 1.0 m

Minimum Depth:
200 kHz – ~0.8 m
50 kHz – ~1.2 m

Additional Features: Integrated tilt & temperature sensor

Best for: Lakes, weedy rivers, or areas with light organic bottom material

Dual-frequency tech allows differentiation between soft vegetation and hard bottom – ideal for more complex survey environments.

Dual-Frequency (200/50 kHz) For soft sediment penetration and bottom structure analysis

Frequencies:
200 kHz – surface bottom reflection
50 kHz – penetrates organic or soft sediment to reach hard bottom

Dead Zone: 50 kHz – 1.0 m

Minimum Depth: ~1.2 m

Includes: Tilt & temperature sensor

Best for: Reservoirs, lakes, harbours, and sediment profiling surveys

Perfect for mapping both bottom depth and sediment thickness in one compact sensor.
