Cube 3D

Cube-3d is a Photogrammetric software for mapping and aerial image processing, dedicated to land surveying specialists. It will transform image data into highly accurate digital maps and 3D models with extreme precision. It imports Cube-a surveys and is fully compatible with registered Stonex scans and with any third-party 3D models.

Main Features

Classification

The classification tool benefits from an industry-leading classification engine with best-in-class point cloud customization tools that give users fast, easy-to-use, and simple data classification.
The user can add additional areas in case the automatic detection didn’t recognise them.

Orthophoto

Use the custom plane function to generate an orthoimage in any direction you like.
It is also possible to extract building corners quickly and accurately using the X-Ray function. With this function, an orthophoto map of the walls is automatically generated by recognising groups of vertical points and identifying them as the walls of the building.

Cross Sections, Profiles and contour lines

From point cloud data, Cube-3D will draw a definition line and calculate single vertical cross-sections or multiple transverse profiles with user-defined intervals. Contour lines can be plotted either onto an orthophoto or a 3D model.
Once completed, the contour lines can be exported along with CAD layers (major and minor contour lines) or as a 2D/3D DXF file to any 3rd party software.

Integrated CAD Engine

Use CAD drawing tools and connect survey maps in the same software so there is no need to export data to a 3rd party software. 
Cube-3D has a complete layer system support with the ability to measure distances, angles, slopes and areas.

Profile lines or cross sections

Select the profile definition line or import DXF’s with the exact position of the line to generate a cross profile. Once a cross profile is made it is possible to edit the profile graphs and add infill points to the 3D model based upon to profile. Once satisifed, the user can export the model to DXF which is AutoCAD compatible.

Flight Path Recorder

Use flight path data from a drone along with the recording function to create an impressive flythrough of your 3D model, switching between different view options during the rendering in real time.

Multiple Data type import

Cube-3D supports all data types including Photogrammetry, LIDAR, sonar, traditional total station data or GNSS measurements. All of these can be imported and worked on in a single project.
